Blankets of Hope Quilt for www.soldiersangels.org 2008Throughout our web site, Kelly's quilts, photographs and postcards are displayed.  Most recently, Kelly and her husband, Michael, completed a quilt with their daughter's 2nd grade class (photo on the right).  The quilt has been donated to the "Blankets of Hope" Program with www.soldiersangels.org.  The quilt will be given to a wounded soldier to help in his or her recovery from wartime injuries.

On a personal note, Kelly is honored to share with you a very proud moment in her family.   Her nephew, Christopher, has enlisted in  the United States  Marine Corps.

Kelly says "Christopher is a fine young man and our family is very proud of his decision to serve our great nation as a U.S. Marine.  Chris has long demonstrated leadership and tenacity that will serve him well in his military career."  

Chris is pictured with Mia and Michael Monroe, Kelly's husband and daughter.  Chris and Michael are holding a flag that was given to our family by SGT John Urbanski currently deployed in Iraq.
